Based on the official Apple page I bought an iPad smart cover for iPad 9.7" 5th gen. (MQ4L2ZM/A) to use on my iPad pro 9.7", only to find out that the magnets are incompatible. Which covers are really compatible with the iPad pro 9.7"? Is this information correct on the Apple website?

Apple NO LONGER makes a smart cover for older 9.7 inch screen iPad/iPad Pro models.
Try Amazon for third party, 9.7 inch screen iPad models that are compatible with your 2016, 9.7 inch screen iPad Pro.

We see you have some questions about covers for your iPad Pro. Apple no longer makes a cover for that model of iPad Pro. You may be able to find some third-party covers however.
