How do I lock my phone?

How do I lock my iPhone 11 in order to get iCloud backups at night. I am connected to power and WiFi. Thanks

You can press the Side Button, or just let it go to sleep on its own. Go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > iCloud Backup and ensure that the iCloud Backup setting is toggled on.

Just turn off the screen by pressing the power / sleep button. Turing off the screen, lock it so it can perform backups overnight.
