Updated my gmail password but Mac mail won't allow me to update it on my MacBook. I have tried closing Mac mail down and have now deleted the account from Mail. However, now I can't add the gmail account. When it says it requires authentication, 'Open browser' it just keeps spinning.

We see you're having trouble getting your Gmail account setup on your Mac. Have you tried restarting the Mail app and your Mac to see if the issue persists? How about a different Wi-Fi network? Do you have other Mail accounts setup on your Mac? If so, are they working without an issue?
