WiFi

I’m in a prestigious holiday apartment. Two iPhones and a MacBook Air connect to the WiFi. But my MacBook Pro refuses. I’ve reset SMC, restarted MacBook, run diagnostics, deleted the old networks (I’ve been here before).

what next?

How old is the MacBook Pro? I recently had a similar experience in a VRBO rental where newer iPads and iPhones connected fast but my 2012 Macbook Pro running Mojave did not. There were two networks, both shown as as wireless ac that my old Macbook Pro could not access.

However, when we found the router and moved the Mac closer, the two networks resolved to one running ac and a second running a/b/g/n/ac (per NetSpot). Once my old Macbook Pro connected to the second, I had no more issues regardless of where I was on the property.
