IPhone 13 USB A connection to CarPlay

Anyone out there successfully doing CarPlay with an adaptor for the proper cable according to Apple? Or, Is it safe to use my old lighting to USB a cable?

We understand that you have questions about which Lightning cable(s) you’re able to use with your iPhone 13.

A Lightning to USB-A cable is absolutely compatible with iPhone 13 and can be used for CarPlay, syncing or charging. You can check out the compatibility of the cable here - Lightning to USB Cable (1 m).

Though not an issue when using it in your vehicle, just in keep in mind if you’re desiring to use your device’s fast charge capabilities, this is not a cable that will work for that. Fast charge your iPhone
