haven’t gotten a refund

so i used a prepaid visa card and it renewed some subscriptions, i instantly cancelled them and requested a refund, today i got an email saying that my refund got approved and those 2 subscriptions got refunded, but when i went to check the balance on my visa gift card, it still had the same balance, is it even possible for money to get refunded to my visa gift card?
