audio interface not displayed in sound input

I have an iMac 21.5-inch, late 2013 connecting to a Roland A-88 midi device using a USB connection.

The device displays in MIDI Studio and is getting a signal from the keyboard, but the audio interface does not display in Sound>Input. The driver is installed correctly.

Thanks,

Charley

Per the spec sheet from Roland, the A-88 has no audio capabilities.

It is strictly a MIDI controller and has neither Audio Input nor Audio Output connections.

As such, it will not show up in the Mac's System Preferences > Sound control panel.
