Does this warranty cover screen damage?

The AppleCare+ contract has to be purchased in the same country/region that the product was originally purchased.
All Apple products, regardless of country/region, include a one year limited warranty.
This does not cover accidental damage.

No. Apple does not provide an international warranty for their iPhones.
