Locked out of apple music

Hi Guys

I recently had to factory reset my device due to the fact that i couldn't remember my pin, as you know when you factory reset your phone gets wiped out and you have to put in a new apple ID as your old one is already registered. My apple music was linked to my university student email, now I cant get to use my apple music because of the new apple ID, how do I retrieve my old apple music subscription that I am paying for using this new apple ID

Welcome to Apple Support Community!

So I you did have to sign in with a new Apple ID on the device, your subscription status will not be linked to your new Apple ID

You will need to call Apple Support and they will have to unlink that student subscription from your old Apple ID, and you will have to subscribe and reverify your student status on a new Apple Music subscription through uniday's

You will not regain access to any playlist or downloaded, or same library as you had on that old Apple ID.

Get an Apple Music Student Subscription: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205928

Contact Apple Support : https://www.apple.com/contact/

Hope this helps ;)
