Hi. I'm interested on buying this monitor (LG UltraFine 4K Display).
Does it functions with MacBook Pro 2012 (with catalina)? And does it function with M1?

We'd like to help answer your question as best we can regarding that monitor and the compatibility between your two Mac models.
No, it won't work with your 2012 Mac as it requires connections it won't have. Check out 'System Requirements' here: LG UltraFine 4K Display
For your new M1 Mac model, it will most likely have both the software and hardware requirements.
