Comcast email is overloaded even after deleting emails

On our shared computer, my wife is receiving a message that her Comcast mail account is overloaded. She is no longer receiving her Comcast emails. We havedeleated many of her inbox message but continue to get the same message.

This would be a better question for Comcast customer support, but as a matter of basic troubleshooting, make sure the emails you've deleted from her inbox are also deleted from the Trash/Deleted folder as well. Another thing to check for would be any emails with large attachments (photos, etc.), as deleting those would provide the most immediate relief.
