Iphone keeps asking me to set up Apple Watch since new update

If you're being notified to set up an Apple Watch but already have one set up, you can try resetting and re-pairing it.

So it just takes you through the entire pairing process again. That is definitely not normal. If you already have the watch paired and it shows in the Watch app, but keep getting a prompt to go through the pairing process again, we'd recommend contacting Apple so they can investigate that issue: Get Support

Let's get some more information about what you're seeing. Where are you getting this message about setting up a watch? Is this just randomly popping up on any screen on the iPhone? Are you seeing it inside the Watch app? Is the watch currently functioning? (are your notifications from the phone showing up on it) What is the exact message that you are seeing?

So when you click Continue, what is happening? Does it take you to the Watch app, but then shows there's already an Apple Watch setup in there? Does it show some sort of error message? Is there just no response at all when you press Continue?
