Why did I stop getting messages on my MacBook air?
MacBook Air (2020 or later)
I found the problem. Somehow “take all accounts offline “ in Mailbox had been checked. Thanks for trying to help.

Is the issue limited to receiving messages or are you unable to send them as well? If you haven't done so yet, take a look at article, If you can’t send or receive messages on your Mac and try the suggested troubleshooting actions provided here.
