Add an event to my calendar

Want to add an appointment to my calendar on I phone x. Why is it now so complicated?????

All day event in my calendar is not showing up in my MacBook but it shows up in my iPhone I will create an all day event in my MacBook calendar, but it does not show up in the calendar in the computer but does show up in my iPhone seconds later. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks in advance

Open the calendar and tap on the +. That will open the even template, fill it out, tap Add.
