Distortion when using a vocal plugin

Hi. Using a MacBook Pro running GarageBand. When I use a vocal plugin such as Antares Harmony Engine or Waves Ovox I get an overwhelming distortion when using a mic. When I minimise the plugin so that it does not show the controls on screen the distortion disappears. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Final Cut Pro Voice Isolation Troubleshooting I just upgraded to a Mac Studio. I'm using a Scarlett Solo with external speakers for audio. When using Final Cut Pro's Voice Isolation feature, my audio is distorted. No other plugins cause this. When I switch to the Mac Studio speakers or Mac Display speakers, there is no issue either. Anyone else have this issue or have a fix? Thanks.

Worse sound quality while mic on When I turn my mic on, my mac's sound quality changes. For example if im listening to music, and then decide to join a call or turn my mic on, the sound will stop for a second and then turns on to a much worse sound quality. Is there any way of solving this problem? Pd: I've had this issue in every single Mac OS.

Input volume too low on third party apps? (Macbook pro retina 2015) I keep hearing from other people that my voice is too low unless I speak directly to my inline earphone mic. The problem does not seem to be with the headset mic, because I can hear myself perfectly on video/audio recordings and when using the earphone with my headset to do calls. The input volume seems to go much lower when I am doing video calls or audio calls on my macbook.
