Magic keyboard issues with Facebook and email

I started out having trouble with Facebook freezing whenever I tried to open comments. I checked here and found that the solution was to go into settings, then accessibility, then keyboards, and finally turn on “full keyboard access”. That solved the problem for Facebook but I then discovered that if full keyboard access is on I now have issues with writing emails. I start writing an email but in the middle of typing in the body of the email the cursor jumps to a different spot and the area for the body of the email highlights like you are trying to copy and paste something. Turning back off the full access for the keyboard solves the email problem so I’m constantly having to go to settings to switch the full keyboard access on and off, which is very annoying. I never had this problem before so I’m guessing it is a software update issue. I’m running 15.1 on an 11” iPad Pro.
