Let me offer some suggestions:

  1. See if the app provider has an uninstall software to download from his/her site.
  2. locate the App on your MacintoshHD drive. You can use EasyFind (free) from DevonTechnologies and search for the App name and/or the company or developper name. You will then find all related files also.
  3. If he App is in its own folder then delete the folder, els try to move the App to a newly created folder and delete that folder.

I was succesfull deleting some locked packages from Microsoft that way.

I hope this helps

Did you already try to change the file permissions settings ?

You can look how they are set in finder, selecting the app, right click and select show info.

You may be able to change them in Teminal throug following command:

sudo chmod -R 777 <file path>

Drag the app to the location <file path> in the command.

You will have to enter your password.

This should change the permissions to allow read, write and execute for everybody
