HomeKit specific Apple ID stuck on loading accessories and scenes.

I setup homekit and added my wife as users who can only control devices. The problem is the home app on my devices are stuck on "Loading Accessories and Scenes" and she is having no issues. Any ideas on why only my apple id is getting stuck. I'm running homebridge for the non-apple accessories. I've restarted/stopped the server with no luck and have rebuilt my "home" in the app three times.
