How can I get Notes to also sync to my wife's Apple ID the way Calendars and Contacts can?

The best solution would be to share notes, or even better share a note folder. The latter solution would be more convenient as you would not have to repeat the sharing for each note you create; all the notes in the folder would be automatically shared.

Thanks for your reply. I was under the impression sharing wasn't the same as syncing, as I want both of us to be able to edit the note. I see now that editing can be done on a shared note. Thanks for pointing me to the article where that was made clear. You can't share locked notes, which are of course, the very notes I want to share ;-) I guess for security purposes you don't want someone with physical access to your phone to share a lock note to themselves and then be able to open, but I would think it would still require the password. Anyway...


Also, you can't share the folder "All iCloud", meaning all notes, which is also exactly what I want to do. So, apparently I need to unlock my notes and put them into a subfolder to be able to share. Seems like syncing (the way contacts and Calendars do) would be a much simpler solution but one that Apple has for some reason decided is not the way to handle notes.
