The Keyboard does not appear until you activate Siri. Press and hold the side power button to activate Siri and the keyboard should appear.

The Keyboard does not appear until you activate Siri. Press and hold the side power button to activate Siri and the keyboard should appear.

I turned off the phone for a couple of minutes and turned it back own. Problem solved
