Apple TV 4K stuck in 576p resolution

My Apple TV 4K keeps switching to 576p resolution. Everything streams in this low resolution and the aim screen is at this resolution as well. The Apple TV has only been experiencing this issue for the past few months.

I have called apple support and the only solution is to reset the entire device. This wipes everything and I have to then re-enter all my account info. Very annoying when you have to do this every couple weeks.

Another issue that presents itself when the Apple TV is in this state is the constant restarting on its own. Instead of going to the screensaver the Apple TV will just restart itself every few minutes. Very odd.

I keep hoping a software update will solve the problem but it hasn’t. Does anyone know if a more permanent solution to this issue?
