If you mean that the "add file" dialogue opens up to the iTunes folder, then that's because its the starting place to look for the file for the missing piece of music.
However, if you have just imported from CD, it's difficult to understand why you see that message. After all, what could go wrong; you've asked iTunes to copy from the CD into your Library, so presumably, iTunes knows where it put the files (it does know), so how could it then lose those files?
There are two possibilities:
- the reason that you get that message is because you have (or an external programme has) used Windows Explorer to move, rename or delete the file for the song after you added it to your iTunes Library. Either that, or you have moved, renamed or deleted the path to the file
- (and this is a "just in case of misunderstandings" suggestion...) you do mean a physical CD, don't you? Either a commercially released CD, or a home burnt one that was in full audio CD format. If you actually mean a data CD and that the files were in mp3 format, that you copied from the CD (rather than "ripped from CD") onto your computer, then mention this now, because that involves a totally different process and will almost certainly be where the problem lies)
