Sound on iPad went out. Can’t get it back. Tried all solutions listed on this page.

The sound on my iPad stopped. I have tried all the troubleshooting ideas that I read, with none restoring the sound.

In settings, when I click on Sounds, and the click ringer tone I hear the sound, but, there is no sound for anything else on the iPad (e.g. YouTube, video, gaming).

any ideas?
