Iphone update Dec. 2021: Iphone passcode won't work after update. Cannot open phone!!!
I do not want to do a restore! I have my passcode written down, so I can't forget it. I am doing the correct code and it will not work. I have a thumb print stored to open the phone but of course it needed the passcode after update. Very frustrated.
Why isn't there an option to sign into your AppleID and unlock the phone???

Hold it Right There!
Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.
