Can't generate App-specific Password on iPad I use Readdle Software's Spark as my email client. Recently, it somehow lost its app-specific password and I've been tearing out what hair I have left trying to generate an app-specific password. The old ASP that I entered was rejected and I was directed to this page to create a new one. To generate a new ASP several dialog boxes pop up (see screenshots). The last one says to go to Settings > Apple ID. And once there, what do I do? There are no further directions and I still don't have an ASP for Spark. Please, what's the next step in the process? Spark isn't the only app that I need to create an ASP for but every attempt resukts in the same dead end. What magic do I have to perform to generate an ASP that I can paste into Spark? Change gmail password on Mac I'm trying to use an App Password from my gmail account to my mac but I can't find the password field to change my password to that of the App Password. Thanks in advance.

App-Specific Password doesn't work . . . Created an "app-specific password", well two, and neither or any works outside of "The Apple Ecosystem". I'm trying to set up my Apple Mail account in another Mail Client and also need the specific SMTP syntax that Apple uses, since it seems to change with the wind, using more words to describe than just outright list the settings. I have used it in various ways and now I have no idea what to use "today". My personal servers upon finalizing the address, gives you a detailed account settings plus scripts or details as to how your eMails sets up in certain clients. Apple can't seem to do so . . .

What happens when you try? Error message(s)? This is for an iCloud email address?

It will not recognize the password and I can't find the 2 factor authentication method
