Is there an App that does painting by numbers where you have to use the pencil to colour the relevant area, I am not after an App where you touch the area and it fills the area with the relevant colour, basically I want to paint by numbers as we did many moons ago when we had a physical book with crayons/pencils, any help would be really appreciated.

While we can't think of one that would work for you off the top of our head, it could be helpful for you to search in the App Store or by using Apple Services Marketing Tools. By searching there, you can scroll through apps that may be exactly what you're looking for.
Some other search tips could be learn to draw or learn to paint to see if that helps.
