Is there a trick to locating the FIND MY app for mamboed air?

Misplaced my iPhone and now having trouble downloading the FIND MY app to my MacBook Air. Is there a trick?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.4

You don't need to download an app to track your phone. Just log into https://icloud.com/find from Safari.
