iOS 15.1 Connection to Vizio Soundbar issue

I have two Vizio tvs, connected to Vizio Dolby Atmos soundbars and 4K Apple TV’s. Ever since iOS 15 launched I have had problems with connection.

One tv will not allow me to link to soundbar/tv one will. Neither will start up right away. I always have to unplug Apple TV for the soundbar to recognize the Apple TV. I have tried resetting to factory, checked cables even though nothing had changed. Tried using Beta software and no luck. TV and soundbar are both current software. I’m ready to toss these Apple TV’s and go with a competitor or just use Vizio’s SmartCast.

Hello Tkryzer35,

From your post it appears you are having an issue with your Apple TV's since the latest update.

It also sounds like you have done some pretty solid troubleshooting.

Since you have reset the devices, and made sure the software was up to date, we would suggest that the next step would be to Contact - Official Apple Support

They are going to be in the best position to assist further.
