I have been using the Apple Music student subscription for several days now, every time I open the app, it asks for my Apple ID password what should I do

From your post it appears you are being asked for your Apple ID password whenever using the Music app.
Since it appears you are using an iPhone, we would recommend that you power cycle the iPhone using these instructions: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support. While simple, this can refresh the iOS, apps and connections.
Confirm and make sure the Apple ID you're using for Apple Music is signed in: Sign in with your Apple ID
If this only happens when using the Music app, then we would suggest that you remove the app, restart the iPhone, and then install the app again: Delete built-in Apple apps from the Home Screen on your iOS 14 or later or iPadOS device or Apple Watch - Apple Support
Also, keep in mind that with this step, any songs you have for offline play will need to be downloaded again.
