macOS monterey, music app, switch the audio output to HomePod

One the left side in the music app i should be able to switch music to an HomePod.

As an example i use the HomePod to start radio streams, then leaving the room let siri stop the stream.

If i'm back, sitting at my mac, try to start music form the music app.

Start the music from the music app, go to the menu and select the output device "HomePod".

The homepod is dimming slightly but no sound. The HomePod is "blocked" by the radio stream (listed in the dropdown menu). I can't change that.

If i take a iOS device, i can replace the stream - but not with the mac.
