DRM protected song - Slideshow for family

I have created a slideshow in photos and want to add music from my Library in my Apple Music account. It says the song I just purchased is DRM protected and will not allow me to use it in the slideshow. Is there a way around this even though I purchased the song through Apple Music?

It is not possible to use a DRM protected file in slideshows. However as far as I am aware, Apple are no longer protecting music purchases.

Do you also subscribe to apple music - is it possible you are trying to add the copy from your subscription, rather than the one you have purchased. Music from Apple Music subscriptions are protected.
