so my parents put downtime restrictions on my phone for 10pm every night and i’ve noticed that at random times on random days it will randomly turn on such as at 8:11 pm tonight and say “screen time will be limited until 7am tomorrow”. any way i can fix this? it’s random and i’ve asked my parents if they’ve changed anything to which they always say they haven’t.

We understand that your parents have set a downtime restriction in Screen Time for 10 PM every night, but occasionally it will notify you of a limited time at an earlier time. You can take a look at the following support article on managing downtime in Screen Time to review with your parents to make sure it is set to the parameters that they want. It is possible that a downtime setting based on usage has also been added in addition to the one for a clock time.
