Hi,

Your domain is going to be where the email address originated, or the host, of the email.

Examples of email domains:

  • @Apple.com
  • @papajohnspizza.com
  • @gsu.edu
  • @therealtorgroup.com

Domains are owned by companies and businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, employers, etc.

Consumers also have the option to purchase and create their own domain if they wish.

You would link your existing domain to iCloud, whether it be a student email, email account created by your employer, or your own email domain you have already previously set up.
