I have recently checked my ipad storage but it turned out that the storage calculation doesn’t work properly. I tried everything (restart, shut down, update the newest ipados) but so far not of them can change the situation. Now when I check the storage, it keeps saying “calculating category size”. Can you guys show me a way to fix this without having to reset the ipad? Hope this problem is temporary.

You appear to have tried to more obvious initial steps. If you continue to experience difficulties, you would be best advised to first seek assistance directly from from Apple Support.
You can contact the Support Team using the Get Support link at top-right of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad:

You can get support assistance using the second link - using a web browser from any computer. Apple Support will be able to offer advice - based upon their assessment of the problem.
If unwilling to seek assistance from Apple, the only remaining suggestion is to reset your iPad (which you have expressed preference to avoid). Resetting your iPad is not as onerous as you perhaps perceive - providing you have either an iCloud or iTunes backup of your iPad before you start.

I'm in Vietnam so the Support App is not available in my country. I am planning to contact Apple authorized seller from where I bought the iPad but is this problem that serious? I want to ask beforehand cause sending it back to the seller is time consuming and I have a lot of work done on my iPad.
