Home App Stuck

Hello! I have been trying to open the home app, but it gets stuck in a loading screen that says “Loading Accessories and Scenes” Could someone help?

We'd like to help you find the best resolution for the Home app. We would recommend staring with making sure your iPad has the latest iPadOS version 15.2 to ensure this is not software related. If this does not help, we would recommend next to make sure that you have one or more HomeKit-enabled accessories.


Look for the label “Works with Apple HomeKit” on the product packaging. In addition, on your device, sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID and make sure you turn on iCloud Keychain and Home to edit home users and use accessories on all your devices, and check About privacy and Location Services in iOS and iPadOS and check HomeKit.
