Missing option to sort note's checklist automatically

Hi,

It used to be that when I checked off a box on my notes checklist it automatically went to the bottom. It no longer does this and when I went to turn that option back on in the preferences it dose not exist. See screen shot. Has this feature been removed? I have no idea why it would be.
