Notes to do checklist help

In Notes I have checked automatic for "Sort Checked Items." But when I check an item as done it does not move to the bottom. I tried several times but it just doesn't work. Help.

This will work only if your Notes are under the iCloud Folder or "On My iPhone" Folder. See the pic below
