Memories not being created automatically on my Mac

Why would Memories no longer be created automatically on my Mac?

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

Hi, theodorefromcanton, and thanks for reaching out. We see you're having issues with memories no longer showing in Photos on your Mac. We'll be glad to assist.


Per View memories in Photos on Mac, you can block certain memory types.


If all types, or relevant types (depending on the types of photos your library consist of) have been blocked; that could explain this.


From here, we'd recommend opening Photos, then selecting Photos > Preferences > General, then clicking the "Reset Suggested Memories" button. That should reset anything related to the memories themselves.
