Silent mode doesn't mute apps...

Before iOS 15, I could mute apps but putting the phone in silent mode. Now whenever I use silent mode only sms and phone calls are muted and vibrate. How do I make the apps and other things be silent again?

Silent mode option missing on iPhone 15 I got new iphone 15 plus yesterday. I noticed that when I enable mute switch, there is no silent icon besides clock as it should be. I checked the settings and surprisingly, under sound and haptics, the "Silent Mode" and "Show in status bar"option is missing. Iam attaching the screenshot. Iam on ios 17.2.1. Silent mode not working iPhone 13 (iOS 15) Hi, I’ve put my phone in silent mode using the switch on the left side. I get a “Silent mode on” pop up. BUT I still get notification sounds from different applications and websites, Facebook videos will play with audio etc. What’s wrong?
