A youtube starts to play. I go to full screen. It won't go back to small screen and none of the control buttons work. The cursor disappears.
All I can do is shut down the mac and start again.
Any ideas? Thank you

Pressing the "esc" key should exit Full Screen. Or mousing to the top of the screen and clicking the green "grow" button.

Hi -- Thanks for your advice. Turns out I went and got a new 2020 Macbook Pro for another reason, so the prob is gone.
