19, 1 iMac, Monterey 12.1: Why?

We need much more information than you are providing us, we are horrible mind readers and most of us refuse to look over your shoulders to see what you are doing.
The one thing that caught my eye was that the 13.2 Xcode update was only 7+ GB. It also showed that the installation was 100% complete, and continued to run for at least a half-hour afterward while displaying this message before the installation actually ended. This is on a MacBook Pro M1 Pro with 32GB RAM with Monterey 12.1.
Finally downloaded.
Skip it then. It finished
