My iPad Air, 4th generation, is not using Safari as the browser. It keeps going to Chrome. How do I get this iPad to go back to using Safari? The Icon is still there so I don’t think that I deleted it in error. What can I do?

You just need to change the default browser setting:

Settings > Chrome > Default Browser App - select Safari

I did the same thing on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and just switched to using the google search ( Google IOS App ) to search from but wanted to also keep Safari , so I did as it was said and deleted my Chrome Beta App for iOS because it caused massive problems , and switched the setting back to Safari , so now I have Safari App to search from & the Google App to search from too .

however under the settings on my iPhone where it says which Browser do you use I tapped Safari but it does use Google at least that’s what it says in the settings under General) it’s confusing ! I did update my iPhone to iOS 15.2 and it said successful !

I can open my Safari Browser App and it says Safari , so I guess I’m using the right one ! ? Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ as long as it’s working .. I guess I won’t complain right now !
