How to remove thumbnail from locked iPhone screen?

Good day! I don't speak English very well. My question is that after updating the iPhone to version 15.1, a thumbnail of the photo and the name of the person who writes to me appears on the locked screen. I've tried everything, but how can I hide it? Previously, it was only displayed that I had one new message - now all the information is right there in plain sight. Thank you in advance for your response!

Hello there, Kseniya28!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you have an issue with seeing the Message previews on your Lock Screen. Check out this article to Change notification settings on iPhone.

There are three settings that can be applied to Message previews: Always, When Unlocked, or Never. Can you tell us what method you are using to unlock your iPhone? If using Face ID, for example, the lock screen will changed to an unlocked state if it detects your Face ID, which will then display your messages as the lock screen is unlocked. If you would rather this not occur, setting the Message preview to Never display on lock screen may be the preferred setting. The below resource will provide further detail about lock screen options on iPhone.

Use a passcode with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
