Erase Old information

I got a new watch and unpaired my old Apple watch and I just went to see if everything is erased on the old watch and it needs charged but since I unpaired the watch it does not charge. How do I make sure all the information on the old watch is erased?

Apple Watch Series 1, watchOS 6

Charge the old watch and do this;

Settings/general/reset/erase all content and settings

If you can't access anything on the watch then it probably has been erased when you unpaired it.

You could also remove all watches on icloud and then setup your new watch again to be sure.
