Trouble removing banner on apple tv

I have no clue why this banner has started to stay on the top of my live TV. It can't be opened up it has home, live TV, guide, my library, on demand and the search and setting wheel.

I want to permanently remove this from appearing every time I watch my cable. Help!!! It's driving me nuts

How do I get rid of the new “featured” content in the Apple TV Up Next section? After the update, the preview image for Up Next section was replaced by annoying auto-playing content and I have to scroll down to get to my list of shows. I checked the settings and found the ability to change the “top shelf” to my Up Next, but it didn’t change anything. I even restarted my Apple TV just in case, but it did nothing. How can I fix this?

How do I turn off the video ads above the “Up Next” section in TvOS 16.2 Recently updated my Apple TV to 16.2. I have always had my settings set so that the “Up Next” section in the Apple TV App would be at the top. I just checked and “Up Next” is still set to be the “Top Shelf” in the app. Unfortunately, there seems to be a carousel of ads for other tv shows displayed above the top shelf. (would that be the top-top shelf?) How do I get the “Up Next” section back to the top? Thanks!

That seems to be in an app from a TV provider, not one of Apple’s apps. Which app from which TV provider?

I suggest you contact your TV provider about user customization of their app.
