For some reason all my contacts on my iPhone are missing the zip codes. I use Gmail for my mail, contacts and calendar. Problem started recently. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Gmail, updated to 15.2, switched off and on, still no luck. Any help much appreciated.

Are you able to see the zip codes while logged into your Gmail account online in the Contacts tab?
This will help determine where the issue is coming from.

Yes, all my google contacts have zip codes, just not showing up in my phone contacts. I have another phone that I wiped/reset and when I reinstalled everything from my iTunes account(not direct phone merge) the contact zip codes are present. I will be attempting the same for the problem phone soon.

I figured out what is causing the zip codes(and the state) in my contacts to disappear, now I just need to know a solution.
The zip codes disappear when I replace the USA based phone provider XFinity Mobile sim card with my Rwanda based phone provider MTN sim card.
Anybody out there know a setting I can change? I cannot find it in the individual contact or under contacts in settings.
