iPad Activation Lock

Hi Everyone!


My father bought an iPad in and lost it. We recently found it, but found that it had not been fully set up. However, the activation lock is on and he nor his sister can remember the icloud ID or password that was used to setup the iPad. Can anyone help or tell us how to get the setup started over again so I can do it with them this time and write down the icloud and password?

Tell that person to check their web browser autofill entries and other records, or use Apple's iForgot service, or contact their Account Security team, or the unit's original owner to click here and submit an unlock request.
