Followed by unknown device

When my wife and I got home from dinner she received an unknown device alert on her phone. However, I did not. I thoroughly searched our car. Find My shows a device at our location on her phone but when I try to deactivate it I get an unable to connect to server message. Again, I do not find any reference to this device using Find My on my phone. I have a 10+, hers is a 6+. Have restarted her phone a couple of times, same results.

Unknown Device on Find My iPhone This popped up on my phone a bit ago (it never notified me until now) and said there’s an unknown device with me.
