iCloud alias no longer works

Running macOS 12.1 on a M1 Max MacBook Pro 16." Noticed one of my iCloud.com alias addresses indicates it doesn't exist, but I've had it for over 15 years and it still shows up on iCloud.com. I tested another alias and it goes through without issue. What is the solve on this?

Contact Apple support:

This may be a glitch in Apple's user database. Just to say, be certain you are entering the correct eMail address.

Apple Contact Info:

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

Thank you for the followup.

Contact Apple Support:

Did you contact Apple Support, yet? They need to look into this, and find out exactly why this is occurring. They will see this from their side, and will run you through the fix.

Screensharing Session:

While on the phone with Apple Support, perform a screensharing session with them. This will allow them to see this firsthand form your perspective. Also, perform a Trial-&-Error login session with them, prior to ending the call.

I have a scheduled call tomorrow morning. I have 4 iCloud aliases, 2 work and 2 don't. I know they limit only 3 aliases for new iCloud.com accounts, but I was godfathered in way back when they allowed 5 .mac aliases originally. I got rid of one 10 years ago and kept all 4 which have worked perfectly fine until now. All I know is that I am on the original Steve Jobs server. I signed up minutes after the Keynote at MacWorld in January 2000 to get my main account. I've never had one issue with .mac, me.com or iCloud.com until now, which isn't a big deal, but strange that it indicates they don't exist when they do. I still use to this day the .mac addresses for all of the accounts.
