Disk Not Ejected Properly Notifications

I have a 2019 15" MacBook Pro running MacOS Big Sur. It's connected to an Ivanky USB-C hub which has 2 external hard drives connected to it. My computer is closed and sitting in a dock and connected to a 34" screen. Every time the computer goes to sleep and I wake it I come back to a lot of "disk not ejected properly notifications". Is there any way to disable these notifications or at least clear them all out at one time versus having to click the X button on each of them? It's really a pain. I've tried disabling putting the hard disk to sleep, etc. no luck at all.

Try bypassing the hub and connect directly to your Mac and compare your results.

So it doesn't happen while they are plugged in directly to the computer. Only when plugged into the HUB. Is there something I should look for with the hub to prevent this from happening? It's so annoying to have to close 20 notifications. It's like they keep adding up after everytime the computer closes down or goes into sleep mode.
